Bermuda Festival of Performing Arts
January 28 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
This world class violinist graces the stage this Festival season for a total of four spectacular performances. Since her triumphant debut at the Wigmore Hall, Alda has been a regular guest on BBC Radio 3 programmes and performs frequently at a number of prestigious concert halls including Southbank Centre and Cadogan Hall.
To open this week of classical bliss, Alda is bringing you two performances accompanied by local string ensemble members Alison Black, Kate Kayaian and Jonathan Kightly. Alongside her successful solo career Alda is a passionate teacher, the founder of DEA Music Academy and very much involved in community projects for music and drama.
So whether at the National Museum (QE Hall) in Dockyard, Sunday January 26th or at the Heritage Centre in St. Georges Monday January 27th… come and enjoy a glass of wine or soft drink (included with your ticket) for one of these intimate 45- 50 minute programmes.
Or join us on “A Musical Journey Around the World” January 28th –and January 29th, accompanied by pianist Tom Blach who’s performances include venues such as National Auditorium in Madrid, The Auditorium du Louvre, The Seoul Arts Centre and Wigamore Hall. We can’t recommend Alda Dizdari highly enough!
